Flavours of Jersey Farm Tour

Join a Jersey Uncovered ‘Flavours of Jersey Tour’ and visit one of our wonderful Dairy farms. On the way you will explore a little of the island’s history, and find out about Jersey’s local produce and the diverse tastes that islanders enjoy. The tour begins with collection from your hotel and a short introduction to our Island’s farming and dairy history.

Blanc Pignon Farm – 14:30

At the family run and friendly Blanc Pignon Dairy Farm you will meet the stars of our beautiful Island, our gorgeous doe-eyed Jersey cows.

Blanc Pignon started business in 1942 during the occupation of Jersey. The Herd moved to its current premises at Brookfield Farm in 1952 (just a stone’s throw away from the original farm which is still owned by the family) and then into the new purpose built buildings in 1968, where they still currently reside.

After many years of proudly supplying Jersey Dairy, they have recently introduced a small range of artisanal Dairy products which were launched in June 2021.

Your visit will include an in-depth tour of the farm with the owner of Blanc Pignon. You will get the chance to meet the young calves, see the ladies come in for milking, and watch their reactions and shuffle as they wait in line to get into the milking room – they are keen. The tour will be wrapped up with a tasting of some of Blanc Pignon’s delicious products including their salted caramel and delicious and varied ice creams.
